It has been a hectic few years with a few notes here and there of moves, grandkids, get togethers, and family changes. This journal starting several years ago, helped me get those notes down in an orderly fashion and realize that every day is indeed special enough to remember. I have often said that it is not so important that we write down family stories, but that we write down the titles to family stories to jog our memories so that we might pass on an oral tradition. This book gives me plenty of blank dates in the last few years, to fill in with brief notes on old family stories and every day forward is getting a new short story of that day.
In the Event Tracker in the back, I record separately, not only medical and automobile records, but also vacations and adventures, and parties and events.

need your own history...great way to do it without being intimidated

I purchased this copy for our daughter...she is busy doing what you do with a business and a young family. She knows I use one. We are celebrating our 50th anniversary this year and have read back through ours. I told her...write 1 sentence often...then when you celebrate your 50th, you will have tons of memories (good and sad) to relive!
Everyone needs to write..a diary or journal. This multi-year "journal" is fantastic. Not intimidating...enough, but not too much space "per day". This is my "last year" and my 2nd journal. I will order this year for the next 10 and pray that i will be around to write about my life in 11 years!

For the price, these journals are the best. My girlfriend got me one for our year anniversary and I have loved using it each day. On certain days I certainly wish I had one more line to recap the day, but the additional pages make it easy to continue to write. The binding of the journals are amazing and the little bookmark is a brilliant idea. I will definitely be purchasing more of these for gifts for all my loved ones!

Keep Track of Home and Family

This is a wonderful tool to keep track of home repairs,improvements,major purchases and more. The front section provides a page for each year to record these items and shows a history you can refer to. The monthly pages I use for temperature highs and lows and weather events. The daily pages give enough space to record family daily happenings. The pages for names and addresses are so convenient. And the pages for birthdays are handy. All in all, I love this book. And this is my second one !
